Jessica Edwards Jessica began work in media and communication arts at McLaren McCann advertising, but quickly transitioned to broadcasting, and spent a 5 year stint as Promotions and Event Supervisor at Chum Specialty Television. After Chum she landed at Alliance Atlantis as an Account Executive and Business Development Manager for their Synergy production team. As part of the launching team for MTV in Canada, she then became the Senior Manager of Brand Partnerships at Much/MTV/Comedy Group, a division of CTV Inc.  With each network she represented, she worked with their corresponding/demo appropriate advertisers, producing multi-platform programs where she became a brand champion with penchant for a compelling storytelling approach. In between brand content assignments and directing commercials, she premiered (at The Hot Docs International Documentary Festival, North America’s largest) and released her latest feature film “Stay Awhile” – a personal and human story that chronicles her parents (The Bells) brush with fame, selling millions of albums worldwide during the electric times of the 1960’s/70’s. Her current and future projects are a visual journey, with unique angles of narrative and imagery, her strength as a director and storyteller.
